Planting Hope, Growing Tomorrow and Celebrating 40 Years of Service with Youth Day Tree Planting Initiative held on 16 June 2026 at Khensani’s Collection in Diepsloot.
The impact was 40 Trees planted and 40 Eco-bricks made as part of celebrating moments of service.
To celebrate 40 years of service and Youth Day 2026, the Rotary Club of Morningside brought together volunteers, young people, and community partners for a meaningful tree planting initiative at Khensani’s Collection.
The event involved planting trees which will provide environmental benefits for years to come while inspiring the next generation to become champions of sustainability. More than a tree planting activity, it was an investment in cleaner, greener communities and a powerful demonstration of Rotary’s commitment to creating lasting impact through service.
After tree planting, members and guests engaged in eco-brick making, thereby contributing to creating a better environment.
Together, we celebrated our legacy by planting for the future.
