Club Meetings
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR MEETINGS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19
Our Club meetings are usually held at The Country Club Johannesburg, corner of Woodlands Drive and Lincoln Street, Woodmead, every Thursday morning from 07:00 – 08:00.
However, during Covid-19, we meet via Zoom from 08:00 – 09:00. Non-members, as well as members from other Rotary Clubs, are most welcome to join us. Please use the contact form or email secretary@rotarymorningside.org.za.
Our breakfast meetings very often feature interesting guest speakers. Click here to view.
We are proud to be a part of District 9400 and Rotary International.
The Sechaba Support Project
The Sechaba Support Project has been established to support the community of Diepsloot during the COVID crisis. The program is feeding 400 people each day and supporting 90 families each week. We need your support to continue this great work. R715 supports a family for a week. R2.25 feeds a teacher for a day and R67.50 feeds that teacher for a month. Donate and learn more at Sechaba Support Project or at BackaBuddy.
The Country Club Johannesburg – Woodmead Estate
The Country Club Johannesburg was officially formed on 17 November 1906. The Woodmead property is home to two superb golf courses and a vast array of wildlife and many bird species. The natural resources have been blended to create a harmonious balance between nature and the urban development surrounding the estate. We are indeed fortunate to have our breakfasts hosted in these beautiful surroundings.
